Life's Journey may take you around the world
Or just around your very own back yard
But no matter where it takes you
Keep your eyes wide open
See the little things, not just the big
Smell the air - the good and the bad
Listen for the crickets,
The laughter of the children
Trains and traffic jams
Taste what nature has given
Touch the soft peddles of a rose
Never forget their sharp thorns
